As is custom, Georgetown had a media day this week. During that session, head coach John Thompson III expounding on a number of subjects: Greg Whittington's development including shooting, who is best at the top of his 1-2-2 ¾ court press, finding multiple ways to contribute, the free throw shooting mystery, his team's work against DePaul's 1-2-2 whole court press, Rutgers' freshman guards and big man, the need to rebound, defend and avoid turnovers, and Markel Starks'physical condition.
