It's been years and years -- in fact the late 1980s -- since the Terps have been seriously involved with an impact recruit out of Gaithersburg High School.

Not since the days of Coach John Harvill and dynamic quarterback/athlete Marc Bason, who in the end had to go the JuCo route instead, has a 'name' prospect been courted by the Terps.
