Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio indicated that he likes where is team as the Spartans approach the halfway-point of the spring football session during Tuesday's Big Ten teleconference.

"I sense a feeling of enthusiasm, confidence and a sense of purpose among our players right now," said the fifth-year Spartan coach. "We are having a great spring thus far and we are looking forward to the 2011 season and the new Big Ten conference."
